The origin of the castle dates back to the 13th century. since then, a succession of noble people and illustrious personalities, among which Giacomo Casanova, have marked the Castle's history and its vocation for hospitality, as the 15 bedrooms and suites confirm as well. The manor rooms and the guest quartiers represent a perfect setting for banqueting and ceremonies, in particular weddings, during which the adjoining neogothic chapel can be put at the guests' disposal. Upon reservation it is also possible to visit the medieval aging cellars. The castle also provides a congress room for over 100 people. In the next door shop you can buy the wines produced by the property, as well as typical local products. Wine tastings can also be arranged. At the foot of the castle you can find the restaurant "La Tavernetta" and the 18 hole golf course.
