The Wasserburg Anholt [moated castle] is located at the furthest point of Westphalia, directly on the Dutch border and the Lower Rhine. The ensemble Wasserburg Anholt comprises the hotel, the museum with the princely Salm-Salms collection of paintings, the beautiful castle park, the 18 hole golf course of Wasserburg Anholt, the biotope wildlife park Anholter Schweiz. The 4 star castle hotel with restaurant and patio directly at the water with a view of the castle park, as well as event rooms forconferences, weddings and banquets, is located in the outwork of the moated castle of Anholt. The Parkhotel has 31 individually furnished rooms, all with a view of the castle park. With a great deal of attention to detail we connect the flora and fauna of the park and the history of the house to the individual theme of a room.
