Business hours of reception: from 07:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The more than 100 years old charming and newly refurbished Gletschergarten hotel offers you spectacular views from your cosy room and from the rustic dining room. In the homely lounge with its open fireplace the Michel and Breitenstein families tell you about the soul and the history of this impressive house. After a day out in the fresh mountain air you can relax in the sauna or in the steam bath or treat yourself to a visit to the solarium. There is an internet corner and WiFi available free of charge to stay in contact with family or friends. A wash and dry coin laundry is there as well and a free pick-up service from the railway or bus station is offered for your convenience. Most of the ski lifts are reachable within just a few minutes walk and the bus stop is just 20 m away from the Gletschergarten hotel. You enjoy free access to the sports centre of Grindelwald featuring an indoor pool and an ice skating rink. Various tickets and ski passes can be bought at the regular rates from the reception.
