It is a family hotel, set in extensive gardens, with 42 fully-equipped rooms, which offers peaceful comfortable holidays both, in summer and winter. On our wonderful site, we offer a homely lounge, a hotel bar, games and reading rooms, as well as a sun terrace and lawns with a magnificent view of the Jungfrau mountain area. There is an extensive car park with space for three tour coaches. The bus and train stations and a shopping area are only a three minute walk away. The most beautiful destinations in the Bernese Highlands are easily accessible from here by train or car. All rooms have an attractively rustic decoration, bathroom with a toilet, cable TV and radio, telephone and mini-bar. There are several pleasant restaurants close to the hotel. The picturesque village of Wilderswil, only 3 km from Interlaken, is the ideal starting point, at any time of the year, for excursions, hikes, sport and adventures. Excursions to the Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn or Piz Gloria, or a boat trips on the Thun and Brienz lakes are just a selection from the numerous options for a day trip. The imposing Trümmelbach waterfall, the St Beaus prehistoric caves, the Aare gorge and the open air Ballenberg museum are just a short bus or train ride away.
