The rustic furniture of peasant origins mixes with old doors and windows. Wooden beams and travertine marble blend together in a charming combination of styles. The main house has an antique kitchen, a large dinning room and a huge drawing room, that have kept the atmosphere of the medieval times. The old cellars of Laticastelli were turned into the La Taverna, where you can have top quality wines like Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Vernaccia or Nobile di Montepulciano. On its terraces, you can also enjoy some Tuscan ham, bruscheta, antipasti or a slice of salami. Siena is only 15 minutes away and so is the Chianti Region. Firenze and San Gimigniano are within an hour drive and heading east or south you can visit Arezzo, Cortona, all the Val D'Orcia and the wine area of the Terre Senese, including Montepulciano, Montalcino, Perugia and Assisi.
