The university city of Gießen is about 12 km away and easily accessible by public transport. Even the romantic town of Marburg (at the Lahn river) with its castle and its historical town centre is only 22 km from our hotel. Our comfortable hotel rooms provide a bathroom with shower and toilet. All rooms are equipped with phone, desk, satellite TV and internet access via WLAN. We shall be glad to reserve a non-smoker room for you. After a relaxing night guests can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast buffet and thus start perfectly into a new day. In our restaurant and in our beer-garden we serve regional and international specialties. In the evening the hotel bar is the perfect place to enjoy a drink. The Lahn Valley is a beautiful landscape and invites for long bike tours, for hiking or for boat trips on the Lahn river. The town centre has a number of historical monuments and many half-timbered houses that may be visited. Lake Wissmar, Lake Dutenhofen and the idyllic public outdoor pool on the edge of a forest are popular destinations for a refreshing bath during the summer season.
