Our family-run Landhotel Kussmann is located in a beautiful landscape between the nature park Diemelsee and the region Warburg. We offer 10 comfortable rooms which are equipped with shower, toilet, hair dryer, radio, desk and TV. A part of them offer a terrace. Whether comfortable dining in pairs, convivial groups, small or big celebrations – we always offer the best regarding cuisine and wine cellar. Our specialties are meat from own slaughtering, game from local forests and delicious trouts. In sunny weather, our beer garden is an idyllic place where our guests can spend some relaxing hours. Apart from local brewery, we present a wide range of dishes and beverages. A barbecue area for juicy steaks, sausages and other delicacies is also available. The nature park Diemelsee as well as the adjacent cities offer many opportunities to create your leisure time. Well signposted hiking and cycle trails which are 120 km long will lead you through extensive deciduous and coniferous forests. Visit Germany´s unique wisent park and have a rest on a bench and enjoy the magnificent view to hills and forests. In summer, the river dam of Diemel is a special highlight. Here you can stock up on some sunshine, swim and make water sports. The nearby tributary Diemel is a popular place for fishermen. Our sportive guests can make use of a gliding field, a lido and a keep-fit trail. All of them are located very close to our hotel. Warburg and Bad Arolen are reachable within a few minutes drive and present wide cultural offerings. Please note that we accommodate our guests in a separated guest house.
