Our independently operated 4 -star hotel is located between Fischen and Oberstdorf amidst the splendor quiet & calm countryside of the upper Allgau. As dreamy as the location, so cozy inside: Alpine Joie de vivre, a familiar atmosphere, attention to detail. The Sonnenbichl Hotel is located at the Red Fish Creek on 800 meters altitude amidst lush meadows, high mountains and quiet forests - hiking trails beginning right at the hotels doorstep. The Allgau stands for activity holidays - cycling, mountain biking, canoeing or golfing – guests staying with us enjoy a green-fee discount on 11 nearby golf courses. In the winter, cross-country ski trails offer fun in the Snow as well as the ski areas Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, Kleinwalsertal, Bolsterlang and Ofterschwang that can be reached within 10-15 minutes by car. Benefit from the strength of the Allgau countryside – and relax at our swimming pool and the sauna area Vitaldörfle, a Kelo log cabin with herbal steam bath, Finnish sauna, massages, cosmetic and Ayurvedic treatments.
