The “Hotel Palacio” is located in the heart of the Old Town of Santo Domingo, close to the central place which hosts the eldest cathedrale of America. The hotel is within easy walking distance to all important cultural monuments, sights and museums. The hotel´s surrounding offers a variety of facilities for every taste. This hotel was a former property of Buena Ventura Baéz who was president of the Dominican Republic. It was extended from 1990 to 1992 to a hotel with 21 luxury rooms and in 2002, 15 further rooms were added. Today, the Palacio Hotel provides 34 individual furnished rooms which are designed in Spanish style, ranging from small rooms to exclusive suites with whirlpool, fax and computer with internet access.
