The little resort Calheta is situated at the southern coast of Madeira in the west of Ribeira Brava. Our 114 tastefully furnished single-and double rooms provide satellite TV, radio, air condition, mini-bar and phone. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet and a balcony with either a view to the Atlantic Ocean or to the countryside. The suites have an additional living room with armchairs and a daybed as well as a bathroom with toilet and bidet. Among the various facilities of the hotel you will find a gym, an indoor pool, a sauna, table-tennis tables, a tennis court etc. Next to the extensive pool area there is also natural pool separated from the Atlantic Ocean by a stone wall. This natural pool is especially suitable for children. For a charge you can also book massages, beauty treatments, trips, excursions and catamaran lessons. The surroundings of Calheta are ideal for bathing and hiking. The beach of Calheta with its black lava-sand is in a few minutes walking distance.
