Hide-Away Guest House is a Bed and Breakfast establishment located on the main road into the town of Knysna. The Bed and Breakfast offers 7 ensuite rooms ranging from Executive with lagoon view to Standard with no lagoon view and thus caters for most budgets. All rooms are fitted with DSTV, airconditioning, heater, fan, electric blankets (in winter), complimentary tea/coffee tray, mini bar, clock radio, mini safe, hairdryer and gowns. Numerous excellent restaurants are available and activities in the area include a visit to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, a walk on the beach between Brenton-on-Sea and Buffalo Bay, touch an elephant at the Knysna Elephant Park, do a bungy jump from the highest bridge bungy in the world. A trip to Tsitsikama National Park is an hour away - enjoy a Canopy Tree Tour, returning via Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and Tenikwa. Oudtshoorn, capital of the ostrich farming industry in South Africa, and the Cango Caves is an hour and half drive from Knysna.
