The hotel is only minutes away from the market and a short 3-minutes´ drive from the harbour and Pafos Castle. The Cyprus Government considers Kiniras as a listed house due to the Venetian architecture which takes us back to the 15th century and the Cyprus Tourism Organisation classifies it a traditional city hotel offering three-star standards. This elegant establishment has been a family run business for 4 generations (since 1924) and its design, with much attention to detail, makes it a place to return to again and again. The Kiniras Taverna, which is located within the house, complies with the specific regulations and quality standards of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (project Vakhis) and offers traditional, genuine Cypriot cuisine. Kleanthis Gregoriou who is the manager today, after finishing his studies at the International Catering Institute of Nicosia, also obtained a diploma in Hotel Management in Germany and completed his Master’s in Glion Institute of Montreux, Switzerland. The award winning restaurant is ISO 22000 and HACCP certified and offers diners a rich buffet of delicious traditional Cypriot food set in glorious surroundings which would enrich any event. Kiniras is a small, friendly, boutique hotel where all rooms are provided with mini-bar, TV, radio, air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, wire-less internet connection and ensuite facilities. This traditional house is highly appreciated by a multitude of nationalities. The hotel also has a pleasant back garden for those who wish to drink their coffee or enjoy their meals in peaceful surroundings.
