Business hours of reception: from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Built many years ago as a villa, the hotel came into existence in the 1950’s. The Villa Rosa is a charming hotel, offering an understated but sophisticated atmosphere, with its antique furnishings and prints, all of them fine pieces of Sicilian and Neapolitan craftsmanship which create a unique ambience in the rooms and the lounges. The Villa Rosa has 31 double rooms and six single rooms. All of them provide maximum comfort. Those located on the three floors of the main house are facing the garden and the sea. Brass, wood, wrought iron, authentic antique furniture, prints and paintings are the characteristics of these rooms, each of them with an individual decor. On the top floor of the hotel there are two spacious dining rooms from which you have fantastic panoramic views to the bay, the Aragonese castle and Sant’Alessandro hill. The dining rooms open onto the roof garden, a splendid terrace facing the sea and overlooking the roofs of Porto d’Ischia and the old Bourbon port, and with the thick pinewood of the “Montagnone” rising behind. This is the setting from which chef Ferdinando takes his inspiration for dishes including only the very best Mediterranean pasta, fish, meats and vegetables. With a completely renovated spa facility and a comfortable thermal swimming pool in the heart of its lush and ample garden, the Villa Rosa is an oasis of friendly tranquillity in the centre of Porto d’Ischia.
