At least since 1760 first breweries in Bitburg can be proved in black and white. Thus wrote the “Theresianische Kataster”, a document where all properties of citizens of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg had to be registered, that there existed two breweries. One of them is probably the future Eifelbräu. She belonged at first to Hubertus Holtzemer and passed later on over to the property of Johann Pint. Due to a marriage the brewery was owned by the family Schadeberg in the middle of the 19th century, who sold it in 1920 to the Bitburg brewery Th. Simon. Our rooms offer pure relaxation.
