Estalagem do Vale is located in the north of Madeira (Municipality of S. Vicente - Sítio das Feiteiras). It is nestled in a rural setting, and the hotel has emerged from the renovation and extension of an 18th century manor house with great historical value, all while maintaining the shape of the original house. The inn has 41 rooms – one of them with disabled facilities, a restaurant, bar, cellar, games room, library, Internet area, children’s playground, indoor / outdoor swimming pool, mini-golf, tennis court, croquet lawn, bowling green, sauna, Turkish bath, gym and Jacuzzi. One of the inn’s main features is its surrounding green areas. It is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Madeira. From one of the hotel’s belvederes, you can appreciate the full splendour of the S. Vicente valley and the deep blue shimmer of the north Atlantic, with all its magic and connection to the enormous mountains. The Vale forest is located in the area of "Laurissilva", which is a world heritage site due to the rare richness of its flora, from the Tertiary Age.
