Business hours of reception: from 06:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Hotel Heidekönig enjoys a quiet position. The city centre can be reached within 15 minutes (1,5km) on foot. The city bus stops right in front of the hotel. This hotel offers a total of 100 beds. The rooms are comfortably and cosily furnished. They come with shower, WC, phone and colour TV. Sufficient parking facilities are available free of charge. Regional specialties are served in the snug and rustic restaurant. Guests can also relax on the nice terrace when the weather is fine. Celle and its surroundings are perfect for cycling (bike rental available), hiking and paddling. Numerous sights, such as the castle, the city church, the Bomann museum, the orchid centre and the museum of embroidery patterns, are within easy walking distance. We are happy to arrange trips to the Südheide nature park, where you can enjoy carriage rides, watch sheep or go for a marshland hike. Celle’s surrounding area offers quite a lot as well: the Joe Bodemann park of movie animals in Höfer, the mill museum in Gifhorn, the bird-watching park in Walsrode , the Heidepark Soltau amusement park and the Hundertwasser train station in Uelzen, of course.
