A warm welcome to the “Internationales Begegnungszentrum St. Marienthal”, located on the premises of the oldest Cistercian convent in Germany, which was erected in 1234. You will be captivated by the relaxing quiet, the spirit of the abbey and the picturesque site at the river Neiße either you come to us for business or holiday. Feel the pleasant atmosphere of St. Marienthal in our guest rooms as well. Combining simplicity and elegance, each room has its own special charm. Most of our guest rooms are equipped with shower, bath and telephone. Furthermore we have designed some barrier free guest rooms. Your health and the conservation is a matter dear to our heart. That’s just why most of the ingredients used in our meals are ecologically cultivated. Surrounded by the unique atmosphere of the convent, you will forget the daily routine and find it easy to develop innovative concepts together with your business partners. We provide all you need for one-to-one meetings or large presentations with up to 250 people and as well our simultaneous translation system. In order to always improve the quality and the service of our house, we have submitted to different certification procedures. On the one hand, according to „Servicequalität Sachsen“ (service quality Saxony) as a tourist service provider and on the other hand we are qualified for a family friendly accommodation in Saxony, offering you a special guest house just for families.
