The family-run hotel D´Orange D´Alcantara is situated in the valley of Alcantara, only a few kilometres away from Taormina and the mountain Etna. Due to its privileged location, it is an ideal venue for nature and sport enthusiasts as well as for business travellers. We offer 50 rooms including 34 standard rooms, twelve deluxe rooms and four executive rooms. The standard rooms were renovated in 2002, responding to the requirements of business travellers. They provide a bathroom with shower, WC and hair-dryer, direct-dial telephone, TV, individually adjustable air-conditioning and central heating, balcony, mini bar and safe. Our restaurant “Pedro d´Aragona” has capacities for up to 200 people. It is a renowned restaurant serving Sicilian specialities and international dishes and it is also a popular meeting point for local people. The restaurant´s terrace offers 50 seats. Our small and cosy bar “Piperita” is a great place for an appetizer. The hotel facilities include an elegant lounge and a dining-hall. All public rooms are appointed with air-conditioning. Relax in our piano bar, in our reading room and billiard room. Our internet terminal will make you feel at home. The hotel provides two elegant conference rooms (100 sq and 280 sq) which are suitable for conferences, meetings and gala dinners. The conference rooms are appointed with a screen, audio system and microphones, internet connection, fax and copier. On request, we also provide a video recorder, DVD and MP3 player, TV, computer and a lot more. The pool is an architectural masterpiece, located on the hotel roof. It is suitable for disabled people and offers a bar and a sun terrace. On request, we also offer transfer to the airport of Catania and other directions.
