The Star City Hotel was built in 2000 and is located within a 10 minutes walk to the downtown of Budapest. It offers a youthful elegance with its spacious rooms. The location allows peaceful relaxation while still giving easy access to all parts of the city, due to the excellent public transport facilities. The hotel offers 48 rooms including double, triple and 4-bed rooms. All of them have en suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Further amenities are the 24 hour reception, luggage storage area, currency exchange as well as a large bar area. All visitors’ taxes and breakfast are included in the room price. A wide range of programmess and tours can be arranged at the reception. Our excellent meeting room can accommodate up to 60 people (50 seats) and can be provided with modern presentation equipment which includes a white board, overhead projector, microphones, speakers and a slide projector for slides or PowerPoint presentations. If your meeting or event requires any special equipment or arrangements, please inform us when you make your reservation and we will do our best to arrange the room according to your requirements. Star City Hotel is located in the 7th district of Budapest, on the eastern (Pest) side of the capital. The Keleti railway station is reachable within 5 minutes on foot. This convenient spot enables an easy access to the metro line No. 2 (red) which is part of the city’s comprehensive and efficient public transport system. There are limited parking facilities in front of the hotel but secured parking spaces are available nearby. Inexpensive restaurants are also in the neighbourhood and the Heroes’ Square as well as numerous sights are only a short walk away. The hotel offers free WLAN in the lobby area and in 90 % of the rooms. The hotel also offers sightseeing tours by bus or boat for free until the end of March!
