Founded in the 13th century, The Bear is a former coaching house of great character. Located in the heart of the town it's perfectly placed for a stroll around the magnificent park at Blenheim Palace, laid out by Capability Brown, or for exploring the town's antique shops. At The Bear we take our food very seriously – so much so that our restaurant, featuring Modern British Cuisine, has been awarded an AA Rosette. The restaurant seats up to 80 people, and for special occasions there is a semi-private area. We also have several private rooms which can seat from 4 to 30 people. The restaurant is also available for private use. Whatever the reason for your visit, the atmosphere of The Bear invites you to relax. Therefore all our rooms are equipped with satellite TV, CD player and Radio, trouser Press, Iron and Ironing Board, 24-hour room service and minibar.
