Corvara in Val Badia Corvara is one of the world's top ski destinations. On the slopes of the Sella mountains, the throne of the Dolomites, which is part of the Alta Badia, the Ladin valley can be reached from the Campolongo or Gardena mountain pass. The rocks are bathed in shades ranging from pink to yellow, depending on the time of day, while the profiles of these peaks are unrivalled in the Alps. Various mountain enthusiasts come here each year in a sort of ritual pilgrimage to reach this destination. And in spite of the great number of visitors who come here each year the local people continue to welcome guests with their gentle and discreet hospitality.
