Completely refurbished in March 2003, the Hotel Pestana Cascais is considered one of the most modern and best-equipped 4 star hotels on the Estoril Coast. It is situated on the sea front and enjoys magnificent views over the sea, swimming pools and gardens. The Hotel is located in the aristocratic quarter of Cascais, a few minutes away from the town centre and close to the Serra de Sintra, which is a World Heritage site, as well as to Lisbon via the A5 motorway. ROOMS All the rooms and suites were refurbished in March 2003. The Pestana Cascais has 131 standard rooms (an extra bed may be added for 3 persons), 10 superior rooms (all potentially linking with a further room) and 8 suites (bedroom and living room with sofa-bed). Some of the bedrooms and suites have sea and pool views and others have views over the gardens. All the superior rooms have sea views. All the rooms are equipped with: Spacious balcony with table and chairs, fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer, air conditioning and central heating, cable TV and radio, direct-dial telephone, fully equipped kitchenette, refrigerator, Internet access, safe deposit box (available for hire) RESTAURANTS & BARS Ocean Restaurant: local and Mediterranean specialties with a capacity for up to 120 people. Live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Bar: for a drink or light meal with a capacity for 50 persons and live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Pool Bar: also offering light meals and with a capacity for 40 to 200 persons. Room Service: there is a limited room service available. Facilities for banquets and other events: there are various rooms available for banquets and other special events. CONFERENCE CENTRE Offering magnificent panoramic views over the sea, the swimming pools and garden, this is the ideal hotel for all kinds of events, from small gatherings to large conventions. It offers an excellent price/quality ratio and has 6 conference rooms for up to 250 persons.
