In the Bernese Oberland, in the middle of a stunning circle of mountains, lies the famous holiday resort of Gstaad. In the town centre, just two minutes from the railway station, the Posthotel Rössli can be found in the delightful pedestrian zone of Ober-Gstaad. Cars can be left at the nearby Litzi multi-storey car park. This small and charming three-star hotel, rich in local history, has 36 rooms and two restaurants. The "Stübli" restaurant, frequented by tourists and locals alike, provides a taste of the region´s authentic atmosphere. The "alti Poscht" (old Post Office) á la carte Restaurant is the perfect place to spend a few cosy hours in the atmosphere of a genuine Saanenland "Stube"(dining-room). The little flower-filled garden with its tiny pond is a well kept secret in the middle of bustling Gstaad. The guest rooms have individual charm. The post hotel was built in the popular Charlet-style and the rooms were renovated recently. Each room is different and you can either book a standard or superior room. The standard room is equipped with shower and WC. The superior room is very spacious with bath and balcony. In each room you will find a TV, mini bar, radio, telephone and hair-dryer. Up to 15 September 2013 you can join for free during the week at various regional activities such as kayaking, rafting or climbing with qualified guides.
