The refined facade allows you to forget you are in the 21th Century. The prestigious former guildhall has been transformed into an uncomplicated business hotel in a central location, situated directly at the entrance to Schaffhausen´s charming old town near the train station. Schaffhausen´s sights such as the historic Munot fortress with splendid views, the Casino, the theatre and the museum "zu Allerheiligen" with it´s herb garden are all in walking distance. Europe´s lagest waterfall, the "Rheinfall" and attractive wine-growing regions are a short drive away. For dining, shopping and entertainment Schaffhausen´s picturesque old town offers a wide range of opportunities. Zurich, Switzerland´s largest city is only 50 km away. The rooms, all of them non-smoking, are tastefully decorated and equipped with shower, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, modem access, Wireless-LAN and television.
