The local sports shop, the Davos snow-sport school, and the bus stop are all just a short stroll from the hotel`s front door. The hotel has been owned by the fopp family for more than 70 years. The Parsenn, then known as the "sportsmen`s hotel", was a popular destination for racing and cross-country skiers and tobogganing enthusiasts, who valued the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel - especially the casual dress code of its restaurant. Grandpa Fopp`s hospitality is legendary - and his reputation still provokes the telling of anecdotes among the hoteliers of Davos.
