Hotel Minsk is the oldest city hotel and its building is the architectural monument. It was supposed to become not only the symbol of Minsk but of the whole country in general. The Hotel was renovated several times, the last reconstruction of 2002 turned the usual hotel into the first four-star hotel in the country. Hotel Minsk is situated on the main avenue of city center close to Independence Square and shopping centre Stolitsa. There are central railway and bus stations, subway, historical, cultural and art monuments, Russian Drama Theatre, Y.
