The history of the romantic Landhotel Altes Zollhaus dates back to the year 1658, when a customs office was built on the road from Bohemia to Saxony. The hotel enjoys an elevated position of 800m above sea level, on the beautiful mountain ridge of the eastern Ore Mountains. It is embedded in 15,000m² area of grassland with springs, a forest lake and walking trails. The 41 spacious hotel rooms and suites, all arranged in a country-house style, will make your stay an unforgettable experience. Each one is equipped with a sitting corner, desk, a bathroom with shower/bathtub, toilet, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, telephone, radio alarm clock, satellite TV and W-Lan free of charge. The century-old cross vault restaurant offers regional cuisine and international dishes in a historic ambience. In our pizzeria we offer original Italian pizza made in a stone oven! Traditional coffee specialties and cakes are served at the Zollhaus café or on our terrace every afternoon.
