The four-star Sunderland Hotel is situated in the heart of Sundern in the Sauerland region, which is known as an area with lots of mountains. They are subdivided into different room types, including 4 themed suites, 3 superior rooms, 5 apartments and 43 double and single rooms (economy, standard and comfort). They all non-smoking rooms an come with either shower or tub, as well as toilet, telephone, plasma satellite TV, minibar, armchair, desk and free WLAN. Since august 2013, all beds in the Sunderland Hotel have new Tecra mattresses - for best sleeping comfort! After more than 18 years it was time to give a new face to our restaurant. Now we await you with a contemporary equipment with stylistic African elements. In the entrance area we welcome you with our campfire lounge. Our restraurant is equipped with originals African furniture an decoration from different African counties. Our new food offer consists of German an international cuisine with influences from the Sauerland and Africa. The latter has been inspired by the cuisine of our Kenyan sister hotels with especially imported spices. Of course our popular curry dishes remain a part of our offer. There are regular theme events like curry evenings, grillsafari ect. Kenyan design also dominates all parts of the meeting floor. Here guests are carried away into the world of “Out of Africa”.
