Business hours of reception: 24 hours The Lord Nelson Hotel is an intimate, friendly and pleasant hotel right in the heart of Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s Old Town, close to the city centre and all the capital’s sights and attractions. But above all, the hotel contains a unique, private collection of maritime antiques, passionately gathered through the decades by the owner family Bengtsson. The building dates from the 17th century and is reminiscent of ships from bygone days due to its tall and narrow structure. At just under 6 m wide, this property at 22 Västerlånggatan is undoubtedly Sweden’s narrowest hotel! During the 17th century the building with its powder-pink facade was home to Ignatius Mauer, a printer. Together with Göran Helsing he printed the Karl X Bible (which is part of our collection and is on display in the hotel lobby). We provide a total of 29 rooms and guests can choose between Captain’s Rooms (double) and Cabin Rooms (single). The Captain’s room is a charming and comfortable double room with a lot of character due to its unique antique furnishings from the collection owned by the Bengtsson family, the hotel's owner. The rooms have quality Swedish beds made by Hästens and the bathroom is fully tilled and includes a shower and a hairdryer. The room also has cable television and a wireless internet connection for your convenience. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 00:00 to 00:00 .
