A rocky beach in the immediate vicinity of the hotel invites you to swim or to practise other water sports. Shopping streets, stores, bars and restaurants tempt you to loiter and are within walking distance. A bowling alley, a casino and the imax theatre are not far away. The double rooms equipped with double beds and oak wood furniture provide a balcony overlooking the sea. Additionally, the rooms feature curtains to darken the room, orthopaedic mattresses, air-conditioning as well as a mini-bar, telephone and a privte bathroom with shower and toilet. Many more amenities make your stay with us unforgettable and recreative. Further services of the hotel include our in-house Penny Farthing restaurant serving rich hot and cold buffets for breakfast and dinner. The lobby bar offers small hot and cold snacks for in-between. Likewise, a health centre with sauna, a society room with games, conference rooms for up to 120 people as well as a business and banquet area are at your disposal. The Diplomat Hotel's private beach is situated within walking distance to the Surfside Lido Club. It is open from May until October and a new facility to our guests from summer season 2009. The club is available free of charge and our guests can use the sun beds, parasol and showers. A bar and restaurant is also available at a charge.
